First year sociology graduate student Benigno Merlin has been awarded a four year fellowship from the UC MEXUS-CONACYT Program. The Fellowship will support Benigno's studies toward a PhD in Sociology at UC Merced. Merlin also was recognized with an Honorable Mention in the Ford Foundation's Predoctoral Fellowship competition.
