Professor Charlie Eaton has joined UC Merced Sociology as its newest faculty member. Charlie received his PhD from UC Berkeley. He studies how organizations shape inequality through politics, public policy, and the economy. His current research traces how financialization has led to new inequalities in U.S. higher education.
