Bio:
Kwan Woo Kim is an organizational sociologist who studies workforce diversity and labor-market stratification. Using the census of American universities, his recent project shows how organizational uncertainty about performance, revenue streams, and economic recessions has stalled the diversification of the academic workforce. As a postdoctoral fellow at the HERE Lab, he collaborates on projects concerning graduate education programs and their student outcomes.
