Maria Mora was awarded UC Merced's Community Engaged Scholarship (CES) Graduate Student Award for the 2015-2016 academic cycle. The award is sponsored by the UC Merced Resource Center for Community Engaged Scholarship (ReCCES) and is given for research that has both a community benefit and academic component. Maria's study focuses on the outcomes of immigrant rights mobilizations in the Central Valley of California. Her award letter noted her contributions to Latino Activism. She was officially recognized with the honor on March 4 at the Merced Civic Center at the ReCCES Research Week Reception. Congratulations Maria!!!
