UC Merced Sociology has been ranked #64 among sociology programs nationwide in its first appearance in the U.S. News & World Report Best Grad Schools rankings. It shares the spot with six other institutions, including UC Riverside.
The rankings are based solely on peer assessments by academic leaders, recognizing the program’s quality and growing national reputation.
