Professor Alegria Joins Faculty

Professor Sharla Alegria has joined the sociology department at UC Merced as its newest faculty member.  Dr. Alegria recently finished her PhD at the University of Massachusetts- Amherst. Her work focuses on systems of inequality and stratification by race, class, gender, and immigration status in high technology sectors of the economy.   Welcome aboard Professor Alegria!!!!
