Graduate Student Amalia Perez Martin publishes article in NACLA

November 2, 2018

UC Merced Sociology graduate Amalia Perez Martin recently published an article in NACLA analyzing the new Cuban constitution. In this article, Amalia argues that the legal loopholes in the draft of the new constitution have political consequences. They may leave certain basic rights vulnerable, permit the rollback of the state’s social responsibilities, and facilitate arbitrary state actions.
